Job summary

Mercury Systems Quality Engineering is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead quality programs across design, development and production in a fast-paced aerospace/defense environment. You will drive continuous improvement and ensure product excellence and contractual compliance.

You will work with program management, engineering and operations to develop inspection plans, verify product performance, and support supplier qualifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years QA/QE in mission critical environment.
• Experience with corrective actions, ERP, supplier portals.
• Practical knowledge of AS9100 QMS.
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve standards and procedures.
• Create quality, test and inspection plans and reports.
• Maintain ISO/AS9100/ISO 17025 compliance with QMS.
• Analyze failures and perform root-cause/corrective actions.
• Conduct supplier qualifications and audits.
• Utilize customer feedback to drive continual improvement.
• Lead QMS through design to production phases.
• Coordinate with program management, engineering and operations.
• Review first article inspections and program documentation.
• Perform other duties as necessary.
