Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Branford, CT is seeking a detail-oriented Quality professional to ensure customer product specifications meet all requirements. The role drives process control, continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and corrective actions on the shop floor in a hands-on capacity.

Responsibilities include overseeing the plant QMS, AS9100D & AS13100 compliance, and collaboration with management to meet quality objectives. Experience in aerospace QA and audits is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; US work authorization.
• Experience with ISO/AS and Nadcap requirements; audit exposure preferred.
• Three+ years in aerospace quality control or engineering; audit experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant QMS and AS9100D compliance.
• Lead internal audits and corrective actions; ensure timely close-out.
• Review customer specifications and blueprints; communicate requirements to production.
• Manage Material Review Board (MRB) and disposition of non-conforming material.
