Job summary

Clark Construction Group in Arlington, VA seeks a Quality Control Manager to ensure projects meet contract drawings, owner requirements, and building codes. You will lead QC activities, coordinate with owner and design teams, and drive the Three Phases of Control program on active sites.

The role requires an engineering/architecture/construction degree and at least 10 years in project leadership with 4+ years in QC management; strong English communication and staff development skills are

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in engineering, architecture, or construction.
Minimum 10+ years of combined experience in Superintendent, Project Manager, Project Engineer, and/or Construction Manager with 4+ years as Quality Control Manager.
In-depth familiarity with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers safety standards (EM 385-1-1).
Fluent reading, writing and speaking English; strong stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

Partner with project team to understand, plan, and implement contract drawings and specs.
Coordinate with owner, design team, and contractors to ensure quality and timeliness.
Manage and implement the Three Phases of Control QC plan and testing activities.
Oversee submittal review and approval and coordinate third-party testing.
Lead QC meetings and maintain project deficiency logs.
Recruit, lead, and develop QC staff; interface with owners and executives.
