Job summary

Rogers-O’Brien Construction is seeking Quality Managers, a role equivalent in scope to a Senior Project Engineer, with a specialized focus on quality assurance. You will ensure construction conforms to plans and specifications, coordinate submittals with architects/engineers, and track materials for timely on-site delivery.

The role emphasizes accuracy, communication, and adherence to Rogers-O’Brien's commitments to safety, integrity, and quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2–5 years of combined field and office experience with a reputable general contractor.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency in managing submittals, RFIs, and quality inspections.
Familiarity with construction management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assure that construction work conforms to approved plans and specifications.
Ensure submittals are reviewed and approved by the architect/engineer.
Track procurement and delivery of materials to ensure timely on-site availability.
Maintain a complete and up-to-date record of submittals, approvals, and related documentation.
Monitor the procurement and manufacturing processes to meet project timelines.
Manage the RFI process efficiently.
Inspect received materials to ensure quantity, quality, and compliance with contract documents and drawings.
Develop, manage, and update submittal logs throughout the project.
