Novax Recruitment Group is assisting a rapidly growing US manufacturer delivering a major industrial construction programme. They seek a Senior QA/QC Manager to own quality across large-scale projects and establish the quality strategy.

The role includes managing third-party inspection agencies, ensuring contractors meet engineering requirements, and reporting to senior leadership on quality performance.

Qualifications

• Extensive QA/QC leadership experience on major industrial, manufacturing, energy, chemical or advanced-technology construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction codes, inspection requirements and quality systems.
• Proven experience appointing and managing third-party inspection agencies.
• Experience developing SOWs/RFQs and managing the complete inspection-services procurement process.
• The confidence to challenge contractors while maintaining productive working relationships.
• Excellent documentation, commercial and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project-specific QA/QC plans
• Oversee structural, civil, mechanical, piping and electrical quality activities
• Manage third-party testing and inspection agencies
• Prepare scopes of work and RFQs for inspection services
• Evaluate bids, level proposals and support vendor selection
• Manage inspection contracts, timesheets, invoices and performance
• Review ITPs, submittals, material certifications and turnover documentation
• Lead audits, NCRs, root-cause investigations and corrective actions
• Work closely with engineering, construction teams, contractors and suppliers
• Provide clear quality reporting to senior project leadership

I’m supporting a rapidly growing US manufacturer delivering one of the country’s most significant new industrial construction programmes.

They are looking for a Senior QA/QC Manager to take ownership of construction quality across large-scale, technically complex projects.

This is not purely an inspection position. The successful candidate will establish the quality strategy, manage third-party inspection agencies and ensure contractors deliver safely, compliantly and in accordance with engineering requirements.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and implement project-specific QA/QC plans
