Job summary

PTS Advance is seeking an experienced QA/QC Supervisor to lead quality assurance and quality control on complex industrial construction projects in the United States. This role focuses on maintaining high quality standards, mentoring inspection teams, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and company procedures.

You will manage First-In Inspection processes, oversee the Project-Specific Quality Control Plan, conduct audits, review design documents and vendor quality

Qualifications

• 8+ years of QA/QC experience in industrial or commercial construction.
• Strong knowledge of ASME B31 piping codes.
• Experience with welding, fabrication, and installation.
• Proficient in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).
• 3+ years of leadership experience overseeing QA/QC teams.
• Familiar with ASME Section IX BPV Code.
• Experience developing and reviewing welding procedures and qualifications.
• AWS CWI or SCWI certification preferred, ICC Mechanical certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor QA/QC Inspectors, setting clear expectations and supporting professional development
• Oversee implementation and execution of the Project-Specific Quality Control Plan
• Manage First-In Inspection processes to proactively reduce fabrication and installation errors
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with internal procedures and industry standards
• Collaborate with Project Management and General Contractor teams on quality planning, inspections, and issue resolution
• Review design documents, vendor quality manuals, and inspection records for compliance
• Apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods to evaluate processes and identify improvements
• Track, document, and report quality issues, including non-conformances and corrective actions
• Participate in project meetings to align on schedules, deliverables, and quality expectations
• Evaluate vendor‑supplied materials and components for acceptance and future sourcing decisions
• Prepare and present reports on QA/QC performance and improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, including ASME and industry standards

• AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or Senior CWI (SCWI)
• ICC Mechanical – Commercial Certification (Preferred)
