GAF is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician III to evaluate claims, lead lab testing, and drive improvements in lab processes. The role includes mentoring new hires, maintaining equipment calibration, and ensuring strict adherence to safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in a manufacturing or R&D lab, strong attention to detail, and solid Excel/Sheets skills. This is a full-time, in-lab position with opportunities to influence product quality and safety practices across teams.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years in a manufacturing or R&D lab setting.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in a relevant technical field.
• Experience in quality control, analytical testing, or product development is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead claim evaluations to determine manufacturing and performance characteristics.
• Conduct testing per established protocols and provide accurate data.
• Assist in root cause analysis investigations and report findings clearly.
• Lead lab maintenance and calibration of equipment.
• Train new hires and mentor junior technicians.
• Ensure safety and maintain 5S housekeeping in the lab.
