Job description

The Sr Quality Analyst tests web applications and software to ensure standards are met by reviewing requirements, specification, and technical design documentation, identifying risk to system functionality, creating test plans and executing test cases.

Responsibilities

  • Writes and maintains test automation.
  • Develops, publishes, and implements test plans.
  • Develops quality assurance standards.
  • Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.
  • Provide post-release support related to defect analysis, scalability, and workflow.
  • Communicate directly with management and the development team regarding test objectives, requirements, and results.
  • Demonstrates adherence to the SDLC methodologies.
  • Complete all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan.
  • Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of significant Quality Assurance background, including functional, integration, and regression testing.
  • Significant experience with industry leading Quality Assurance related tools such as Smart Bear and / or Selenium.
  • Supports security patch update testing on an as required basis.
  • Versed in Agile software development and proficient in the use of Jira and Jira Align tools.
  • Proven excellence in solving complex problems related to software testing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient skills in analysis, documentation, and presentation tools, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.
  • Experience in the following areas valued :
  • A background in the healthcare industry
  • Development / programming experience
  • Knowledge of RDBMS fundamentals

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Communicating with others to exchange information.
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and / or fingers.
  • Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.
  • No adverse environmental conditions expected.
  • Remote / Hybrid Roles) Must be able to provide a dedicated, secure work area.
  • Remote / Hybrid Roles) Must be able to provide high-speed internet access / connectivity and office setup and maintenance.

Base compensation ranges from $93,000 to $130,000. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
