Qualifications

• PhD (or equivalent) in applied mathematics, biomedical engineering, systems biology/pharmacology or related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry, consulting, or regulatory agency.
• Track record of application of QSP modeling to impact drug development decisions.

Responsibilities

• Strategize, formulate and execute QSP modeling and simulation for dose selection, trial design, and disease pathways.
• Partner with clinical pharmacologists, pharmacometricians, and R&D functions to interpret data for QSP models.
• Build and utilize QSP models to understand disease pathways and treatment effects; report results for decision making.
• Stay informed on advances in QSP modeling and mentor team members.
• Publish and present QSP work to increase visibility and impact.
• Explore synergy between QSP and other modeling approaches to inform development decisions.
