Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a QNXT Technical Manager to lead the technical delivery for QNXT consulting, implementation, and support engagements in a remote US setting. You will govern releases and coordinate with client teams, architects, and operations to ensure scalable, high-performing healthcare payer solutions.

The role requires 8+ years in healthcare payer tech and 5+ years of hands-on QNXT experience, strong SQL, and leadership of technical teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• 8+ years of healthcare payer technology, consulting, implementation, or production support experience.
• 5+ years of hands‑on QNXT technical experience supporting healthcare payer operations.
• Strong expertise with QNXT Claims Processing, Benefits Configuration, Workflow Engine (WFE), Batch Processing, and System Integrations.
• Experience supporting HIPAA EDI transactions including 837, 834, 820, and 27X transaction sets.
• Advanced SQL and database analysis skills with experience troubleshooting complex production issues.
• Deep understanding of QNXT Schema, architecture, data structures, and system dependencies.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and managing client‑facing consulting engagements.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end technical delivery for QNXT consulting, implementation, enhancement, and support engagements.
• Provide technical leadership across QNXT Claims, Benefits Configuration, Workflow Engine (WFE), Batch Processing, Interfaces, and Integrations.
• Drive root cause analysis and resolution of complex production issues impacting claims processing, membership, provider, and benefit operations.
• Oversee release management, environment governance, technical change management, and production support activities.
• Partner with client business and IT teams to design scalable solutions that align with operational and strategic objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and develop technical consultants while promoting QNXT best practices, quality standards, and continuous improvement.
• Manage technical risks, dependencies, and compliance requirements to ensure successful project delivery.
