Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a QNXT Technical Manager to lead technical delivery for healthcare payer solutions. This remote US role partners with client teams to ensure scalable, high-performing systems and governance across QNXT modules.

You will mentor technical consultants, manage risks, and drive continuous improvement in production support, releases, and integration work, while aligning with business objectives and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/IT/Healthcare.
• 8+ years of healthcare payer tech/consulting/production support.
• 5+ years of hands-on QNXT experience.
• Strong expertise with QNXT Claims Processing, Benefits Configuration, WFE, Batch, and Integrations.
• Experience with HIPAA EDI transactions including 837, 834, 820, and 27X.
• Advanced SQL and database analysis skills.
• Deep understanding of QNXT Schema, architecture, data structures.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and client-facing engagements.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end technical delivery for QNXT consulting, implementation, enhancement, and support engagements.
• Provide technical leadership across QNXT Claims, Benefits Configuration, Workflow Engine (WFE), Batch Processing, Interfaces, and Integrations.
• Drive root cause analysis and resolution of complex production issues impacting claims processing, membership, provider, and benefit operations.
• Oversee release management, environment governance, technical change management, and production support activities.
• Partner with client business and IT teams to design scalable solutions that align with operational and strategic objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and develop technical consultants while promoting QNXT best practices, quality standards, and continuous improvement.
• Manage technical risks, dependencies, and compliance requirements to ensure successful project delivery.
