Job summary

The Tepa Companies are seeking a Quality Control Manager to oversee a historic rehabilitation project at Hot Springs National Park. You will lead QC on-site, enforce contract standards, conduct meetings, review submittals, and document findings daily to ensure compliance and safety.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor's in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management with 5+ years in construction management, including federal projects and historical renovations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
• 5+ years of Construction Management experience.
• Experience establishing and maintaining effective quality control systems on federal projects.
• Experience with historical renovations preferred.
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and documentation.
• Proficient with QC-related software (RMS QCS).
• OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety & Health training within the last 5 years.
• First aid/CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Oversees construction projects from start to finish with a focus on quality control.
• Conducts meetings to establish standards and ensure sign-off of plans and submittals.
• Verifies and documents materials conformance with approved submittals and proper storage.
• Conducts required meetings with superintendent and subcontractors and documents in daily QC reports.
• Reviews plans, specifications, and shop drawings for conformance.
• Performs tests to verify control measures meet contract requirements.
• Oversees subcontractors to ensure quality and safety compliance.
• Maintains as-built drawings and QC logs daily.
• Maintains project submittal log and QC reporting in RMS QCS.
• Provides daily QC reports and addresses non-conformances.
• Schedules and documents inspections to conform to contract requirements.
• Verifies necessary inspections, approvals and certifications by agencies.
• Assembles and forwards project closeout documents.
• Stops work if safety, quality, or progress is affected.
• Advises on changes to methods and materials.
