Job summary

The Tepa Companies seek a Quality Control Manager to oversee the modernization project at Trinity River Fish Hatchery. You will lead the QC program, verify contract compliance, and coordinate inspections, testing, and documentation across multiple trades.

Lead meetings, review plans and submittals, and ensure corrective actions are implemented. This role requires proactive QC leadership and strong collaboration with the project team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
• 5+ years of experience managing construction quality control on federal or similarly complex infrastructure projects.
• Experience with water or wastewater facilities, process piping, hatcheries, or comparable infrastructure.
• Knowledge of plans, specs, shop drawings, samples and testing for QC management.
• Ability to communicate professionally, both written and verbal.
• USACE Construction Quality Management credential and OSHA 30-hour within last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction projects with a focus on quality control from start to finish.
• Conduct meetings to establish standards and ensure procedures are followed and documented.
• Verify materials meet approved submittals and are stored properly.
• Lead client, superintendent, foreman, and subcontractor QC meetings and document outcomes.
• Review plans and shop drawings for conformance to specs.
• Perform tests to verify control measures meet contract requirements.
• Manage subcontractor QC and safety compliance; maintain as-built drawings.
