Responsibilities

• Verify that plans, procedures, and checklists are used and signed off prior to definable features of work.
• Ensure materials conform with approved submittals and are stored properly.
• Meet with superintendent, foreman, and subcontractor before each new phase to align standards.
• Review plans, specs, cost data, and documents to identify quality risks.
• Review shop drawings and submittals for conformance with specifications.
• Perform tests to verify control measures are adequate.
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure quality and safety compliance.
• Maintain daily 'as-built' drawings with the project team.
• Develop and maintain the project submittal log and QC reporting.
• Provide daily QC reports showing activities aligned with standards.
• Schedule and document inspections to meet contract requirements.
• Verify inspections, approvals, and certifications by agencies are completed.
• Assemble and forward project closeout documents.
• Stop work if needed to resolve safety, quality, or progress issues.
• Advise on changes to methods and materials.
