Job summary

The Tepa Companies are seeking a Senior Quality Control Manager to lead the project quality control program for the rehabilitation of wastewater infrastructure in Yellowstone National Park, WY. You will plan, direct, and maintain quality standards for processes, materials, and products on this federal project.

Responsibilities include documenting QC logs, reviewing drawings, reporting daily QC, coordinating with USACE and site leadership, and ensuring conformance with contract requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management.
• 10+ years of relevant construction experience.
• Experience managing QC for substantial rehabilitation or ground-up construction of wastewater facilities.
• Experience on USACE and other federal projects.
• Knowledge of construction plans, specs, shop drawings, samples, testing.
• Course: Construction Quality Management for Contractors (USACE).
• OSHA 30-hour Safety training within 5 years.
• First aid/CPR certification.
• Ability to pass drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project QC logs and QC reporting using RMS/QCS.
• Review shop drawings and submittals for conformance with specs.
• Provide daily QC reports and address non-conformances.
• Lead prep meetings and ensure proper procedures and checklists are used.
• Verify materials meet submittals and are stored properly.
• Document meetings with USACE and site leadership.
• Perform tests to verify control measures meet contract requirements.
• Schedule and log inspections; re-inspect as needed.
• Maintain daily as-built drawings.
• Assemble and forward project closeout documents.
• Stop work when safety/quality issues arise.
• Assist PM with change orders, scheduling, and subcontractor selection.
