McMillen, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Manager with heavy civil construction experience to lead the quality program across dam and lock electrical work.

This role ensures all work meets contractual requirements, coordinating inspection and testing services to uphold our standard of excellence. The QC Manager will implement and manage the Contractor's and/or Client's Quality Control Program, oversee field inspections, document QC activities, and collaborate with clients and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of heavy civil construction experience in Quality Control.
• Experience with dam and lock electrical work is required.
• USACE experience is a plus; CQCM certification or ability to obtain certification.
• OSHA 30 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Quality Control practices and procedures
• Ensure all work complies with contractual requirements, specifications, and drawings
• Verify materials incorporated into the project meet approved submittals and specifications
• Execute required testing procedures in accordance with contract documents and industry standards
• Prepare professional correspondence for clients, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders
• Monitor, document, and track QC documentation, including daily reports, testing and inspection reports, and preparatory/initial meetings
• Review special inspections and material testing performed by third parties
