Job summary

McMillen, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Manager with heavy civil construction experience to oversee the QC program on dam and lock electrical projects.

This role ensures the work meets contractual requirements and quality standards through inspection, testing, and documentation across project teams. The successful candidate will implement QC practices, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, and ensure compliance with industry standards, while supporting the firm's focus

Qualifications

• 5+ years of heavy civil construction QC experience.
• Experience with dam and lock electrical work.
• USACE experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Quality Control practices and procedures
• Ensure all work complies with contractual requirements, specifications, and drawings
• Verify materials incorporated into the project meet approved submittals and specifications
• Execute required testing procedures in accordance with contract documents and industry standards
• Prepare professional correspondence for clients, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders
• Monitor, document, and track QC documentation, including daily reports, testing and inspection reports, and preparatory/initial meetings
• Review special inspections and material testing performed by third parties
