Job summary

The Marvin Group in Southern California is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to inspect products for compliance with MLS processes and contractual obligations. The role requires experience in inspection, GD&T concepts, and use of CMMs and related tools.

You will perform visual and dimensional inspections, interpret data, and work with engineers and suppliers to ensure quality, with potential travel to support MLS quality needs. This is an on-site role in California.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 5–10 years’ experience as a QC inspector.
• Able to read and understand mechanical drawings and tolerances.
• Experience with surface plates, CMMs and other inspection equipment.
• Understand GD&T concepts.

Responsibilities

• Perform program independent inspections, validations, and verifications of assigned items.
• Inspect components using blueprints, specifications, and inspection methods.
• Operate and interpret data from CMMs and other inspection tools.
• Interface with engineers, suppliers, and customers as needed.
• May travel to support MLS quality needs.
