You will document results in SAP, collaborate with QA teams, and help maintain high product standards in a fast-paced lab environment.

Requirements include a HS diploma or GED, GD&T certification or 3+ years of experience, and strong communication skills. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or GED.
• GD&T certification or 3 years GD&T inspection experience.
• 5+ years as a QC inspector.
• ASQ topics certification or Eng/technical degree a plus.
• Quality assurance courses or related training are a plus.
• Strong blueprint reading and knowledge of specs/contract requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with basic computer tasks and MS Office.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs and work in a lab/shop environment.

Aufgaben

• Perform independent inspections and verifications of components to ensure compliance with MEC processes and contracts.
• Visual inspection of mechanical assemblies, soldering, and paint finishes per engineering requirements.
• Review NDT and supplier documentation per MEC Purchase Order.
• Generate inspection reports per MEC policy.
• Identify and segregate non-conforming material and issue QN as needed.
• Conduct first piece validations for manufacturing areas.
• Witness and validate fastener applications (torque, rivets, sealants).
• Support QA across receiving and in-process inspection.
• Occasionally perform higher-level inspections under supervision; interface with suppliers.
