The role requires a BS/BA/MS/PhD in chemistry/biochemistry, 6+ years in a regulated lab, and 2+ years of leadership, with strong chromatography expertise (HPLC, GC, FTIR, ICP).

Qualifications

• Education: BA/BS, MS or PhD in chemistry or biochemistry.
• Experience: 6+ years (BA/BS) or 4 years (MS) or 2 years (PhD) in a cGLP/cGMP lab.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory/leadership experience.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, especially with chromatography instrumentation such as HPLC.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct QC chemistry and microbiology activities per cGLP/cGMP.
• Train QC staff on SOPs and policies.
• Develop corrective actions for continuous improvement.
• Oversee OOS/OOT investigations.
• Oversee day-to-day lab operations to meet production and R&D needs.
• Plan daily and weekly work assignments for analysts.
• Provide technical leadership for instruments (HPLC, GC, FTIR, ICP).
