Job summary

Steampunk is seeking a Quality Assurance Tester in the United States to support our DevSecOps and Salesforce practices, delivering QA for applications, cloud and data systems. The role demands 5+ years of QA experience in an Agile/DevSecOps environment.

You will write test plans, automate tests with Selenium and related tools, manage test data with the Tech Lead, and help ensure CI/CD pipelines validate changes securely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• U.S. Government security clearance required
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 5 years of software/IT/cloud consulting experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience documenting an as-is state and performing gap analyses

Responsibilities

• Meet with product design team to determine testing parameters
• Write test plans, create test cases, test procedures, bug reports, QA reports
• Manage test data architecture with the Tech Lead
• Troubleshoot errors and streamline test procedures
• Testing and examining code with multiple testing types (data, functional, performance/load, usability, accessibility)
• Establish automated testing tools and infrastructure
• Validate testing across Salesforce datasets
• Communicate needs to developers
• Improve DevSecOps processes and tools
• Ensure security against cybersecurity threats
• Collaborate with developers to ensure processes are followed
• Document current environment and perform gap analysis
• Provide cross-training to DevOps team
• Present status updates and recommendations
