Job summary

Steampunk, Inc. is seeking an Automated Test Engineer to strengthen our DevSecOps QA practices in an AI-enabled software environment. You will support manual testing as needed while leading automation across Salesforce applications using Selenium and Cucumber.

You will collaborate with product design and engineering teams, write comprehensive test plans, and own automated test scripts and data architecture. This role requires strong collaboration and debugging skills within CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 5+ years of experience or equivalent combinations.
• 3+ years of experience with Git SCM providers (GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket).
• 3+ years of automation using Selenium, Cucumber in Salesforce apps.
• 3+ years in one or more programming or scripting languages.
• Experience developing automated test scripts in Java.

Responsibilities

• Understand stakeholder needs and convey requirements to developers.
• Meet with product design teams to determine testing parameters.
• Write test plans, test cases, and QA reports for products.
• Own an automation framework around several Salesforce apps.
• Create and manage automated tests in Salesforce with Selenium.
• Develop and maintain test scripts using Java and TestNG.
• Perform API testing using RestAssured; use JMeter for load testing.
