Steampunk is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to join its DevSecOps practice. The role focuses on QA across application, cloud, and data systems with 5–7 years of experience in Agile/DevSecOps environments.

Responsibilities include test planning, data architecture, automation, and security validation to improve testing and deployment processes. Candidate should demonstrate hands-on experience with Selenium, Appium, SoapUI, RestAssured, Postman, and CI/CD integration, along with Docker and

Qualifications

• BS Degree in IT or related field, or a non-IT degree with 2 years IT experience
• 5+ years with Git SCM providers such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket
• 5+ years programming or scripting experience
• 5+ years of DevSecOps experience with Agile development
• Experience with Docker containers and Kubernetes
• 5+ years of test automation using Selenium, Appium, SoapUI, RestAssured, Postman
• 3+ years integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines
• 3+ years performance and load testing

Responsabilités

• Understand stakeholder needs and communicate with developers
• Meet with product design to determine testing parameters
• Write test plans, cases, procedures, and QA reports
• Manage test data architecture
• Troubleshoot errors and streamline tests
• Perform data validation, functional, performance, usability and accessibility testing
• Develop automated testing scripts with parallelization and idempotency
• Automate and improve development, testing, deployment, and release processes
• Ensure systems are secure against cybersecurity threats
• Collaborate with developers to ensure processes are followed
• Document current environment state and perform gap analysis
• Leverage virtualization and containerization to optimize testing
• Drive continuous improvement for DevSecOps processes and tools
• Mentor junior team members
