Steampunk, Inc. is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to join our DevSecOps practice. You will deliver quality assurance for applications, cloud and data systems, leveraging test automation, virtualization and containerization to ensure secure, reliable software releases.

The role requires 5–7 years of QA and test automation experience in an Agile/DevSecOps environment, with the ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of quality assurance and test automation experience in Agile/DevSecOps environments.
• Experience validating software for cloud, data and application systems.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. government Security Clearance.

Responsabilités

• Understand stakeholders' needs and convey them to developers.
• Meet with product design to determine testing parameters.
• Write test plans, cases, procedures, and QA reports for products.
• Manage test data architecture and requests.
• Troubleshoot errors and streamline test procedures.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and infrastructure.
• Validate code with automated, performance, security and functional tests in CI/CD.
• Ensure systems are secure against cybersecurity threats.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure processes and designs work as intended.
• Document as-is environments and perform gap analyses with recommendations.
• Leverage virtualization and containerization to optimize testing.
