Job summary

Shurtape Technologies, LLC in Avon, OH seeks a Quality (QA) Technician to ensure the quality of raw materials, work in process, and finished products. QA Technicians support manufacturing by effectively reporting test results and participating in root cause analyses.

They may interact with Research and Development, Technical, Manufacturing, Sales, Marketing, Strategic Sourcing, Customer Logistics, Consumer Relations and Suppliers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years lab experience preferred.
• 1 year in a lead/supervisory role preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma yellow belt or higher preferred.
• Statistical Process Control knowledge preferred.
• Basic math capabilities are required.

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive culture with clear, respectful communication and teamwork.
• Read and address email messages; attend and participate in meetings.
• Perform shift-change pass downs and collect samples.
• Review, file, and maintain raw material CoA and CoC certificates.
• Perform incoming inspection and finished product testing to ensure specifications.
