Job summary

Shurtape Technologies, LLC in Hickory, NC is seeking a QA Technician to ensure quality of raw materials, work in process, and finished products. You will report test results, participate in root cause analyses, and support multiple departments from R&D to manufacturing.

Responsibilities include material sampling, CoA/CoC handling, incoming and finished product testing, and conducting quality audits. Strong teamwork, communication, and organization are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Basic math skills and ability to read gauges/meters.
• Working knowledge of SAP, Manhattan (Avon) and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive culture with clear communication and teamwork.
• Read and address email messages; attend meetings.
• Perform shift change pass downs and collect samples.
• Review and file raw material CoA/CoC documents.
• Perform incoming and finished product testing per specs.
• Record test results accurately in forms and systems.
• Conduct quality audits (FPC/FAI/IPC) as assigned.
• Support process improvements and product development at plant.
