Job summary

Avient Corporation, a manufacturing leader in materials solutions, is seeking a dedicated quality control technician in Tennessee to support testing of product batches and some incoming materials. You will ensure compliance with customer specifications, maintain COA records, and act as a technical resource to production.

You will also document results in SAP, verify equipment, and participate in investigations and corrective actions while upholding safety and cleanliness in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• Performs standard tests on production batches and some incoming raw materials to meet Avient and customer specifications.
• Acts as a technical resource to production addressing issues related to production batches.
• Maintains COA records and references.
• Records test results in SAP and maintains reference files.
• Completes and maintains required paperwork and records.
• Ensures gauges and test equipment are verified.
• Participates in investigations of complaints and corrective actions as needed.
• Follows safety and work rules and maintains housekeeping standards.

Responsibilities

• Test product batches and incoming materials to ensure compliance with specs.
• Serve as a technical resource addressing batch-related issues in production.
• Record results in SAP and maintain COA and reference files.
• Verify gauges and test equipment in use.
• Assist investigations and corrective actions as required.
