Job summary

Shurtape Technologies, LLC is seeking a Quality Technician to ensure the quality of raw materials, in-process, and finished products. You will report test results, support root cause analyses, and collaborate across R&D, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.

The role requires 3+ years lab experience, a high school diploma, and strong attention to detail. Experience with SAP/Manhattan and Lean Six Sigma is preferred. This on-site position offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of lab experience in a manufacturing setting.
• 1 year in a lead/supervisory role preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma yellow belt or higher preferred.
• Statistical Process Control knowledge preferred.
• Basic math skills and ability to read gauges/meters (English and metric).
• Working knowledge of SAP, Manhattan (Avon), and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and attendance records.
• Ability to work independently, be self-motivated, and team oriented.
• Organized and detail oriented; qualified internal ISO auditor.

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive culture through clear and respectful communication and teamwork.
• Read and address email messages; attend and participate in meetings.
• Perform quality inspections on raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Record test results accurately and report findings.
• Conduct root cause analyses and assist with corrective actions.
• Support calibration, ISO programs, and SOPs; assist with continuous improvement.
