Job summary

MYR Group is seeking a Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager for Transmission and Distribution projects. You will develop a company-wide QA/QC standard program, train staff, and serve as the primary quality liaison with client inspectors on diverse projects across the U.S. and Canada.

You will manage ITPs/QMPs, oversee NCR processes, and ensure compliance with NESC/NEC and contract requirements. Travel up to 50% is expected as projects demand on-site QA leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in electrical construction QA/QC roles.
• Journeyman Lineman experience preferred.
• 2+ years in QA/QC supervisory role preferred.
• Strong reading of contracts and client specifications.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a QA/QC standard program across Transmission and Distribution.
• Develop inspection/test plans (ITPs) and project QA/QMPs aligned with client requirements.
• Prepare and complete project construction quality review checklists and documentation.
• Manage the non-conformance (NCR) process with root cause analysis and corrective action.
• Review subcontractor and supplier quality submittals, material certifications, and calibration records.
• Submit quality reporting to management; act as primary liaison with client inspectors.
• Maintain quality records for project closeout; oversee QA staff as needed.
