Job summary

DSJ Global, a Maryland-based, 100% employee-owned MEP contractor, seeks a Quality Control Manager to lead QA/QC delivery across a major construction project on site.

You will develop standards, review specs for code compliance, lead field observations, and prepare QC reports. You will identify deficiencies, drive corrective actions, and run planning meetings while coaching your team for long-term quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years relevant experience, including 3+ years in a lead capacity.
• Strong grasp of lean construction/manufacturing principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and communicate QA/QC standards across the project.
• Review specifications for code compliance and constructability.
• Lead field observations of MEP systems against approved plans and contract documents.
• Prepare quality control reports for the management team.
• Identify deficiencies and drive corrective actions to resolution.
• Run QC/QA preparatory and planning meetings ahead of field work.
• Coach, develop, and provide performance feedback to direct reports.
