Job summary

TSMC Arizona is seeking a Quality Assurance and Control Engineer for the F21 FAB project in Phoenix, AZ. The role requires strong knowledge in quality assurance, adherence to ASTM/ASME/AWS standards, and leadership in QC activities.

You will supervise testing, document results, and ensure contract compliance with submittals and project documents while upholding the company's core values and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field; equivalent education/experience may substitute.
• 5 years of large project and construction management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of construction standards and best practices; ability to enforce contract requirements.
• Proficiency with Procore, Viewpoint, SharePoint, MS Office, Smartsheet, ACC, Bluebeam and BIM 360 Field.

Responsibilities

• Monitor welding procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Visually inspect welds and verify adherence to procedures.
• Conduct daily observations and document results.
• Prepare and review quality inspections and submittals.
• Chair and document weekly QC meetings with stakeholders.
• Oversee QC/QA reporting and ensure conformance with standards.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Building Construction, or Building Science
