Job summary

DLB Associates is seeking a QA/QC Field Specialist I to lead inspections and validation of electrical and mechanical systems across projects in the U.S. The role emphasizes collaboration with design engineers, contractors and clients to ensure quality compliance and timely reporting.

The position requires extensive travel up to 75% and a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline, with strong MS Office skills and proven ability to work independently in a remote-capable environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical and controls system principles.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Ability to work remotely with strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct on-site inspection, validation and verification of electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Develop and monitor testing plans and pre-functional checklists.
• Review shop drawings, submittals and vendor data for quality compliance.
• Coordinate QA/QC activities with design engineers, contractors and clients.
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation and reports.
