Moog Inc. is seeking a Sr. QA Manufacturing Inspector to support 1st shift operations on site in the Buffalo/East Aurora area of New York. The role requires extensive experience in quality inspection within manufacturing and a strong ability to read and apply instructions in English.

You will lead first piece inspections to AS9100 standards, evaluate process risks, and assist engineering and production teams to maintain high workmanship. A robust benefits package accompanies this position.

Qualificações

• At least 5 years of experience in quality inspection in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to understand and apply verbal, written and training instructions in English.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and perform complex first piece and first article inspections to AS9100 standards.
• Assess process risk due to setup variations, tools, instructions, and measurement limits.
• Aid in business system audits and product audits.
• Inspect parts using inspection techniques and layouts of varying complexity.
• Assist manufacturing management to ensure workmanship standards are met.
• Support process improvement and investigative inspection activities with engineering.
• Train operators and inspectors on best practices and inspection techniques.
• Assist in problem solving to evaluate nonconformities.
• Proficiency in automated and manual measuring and test equipment.
