Job summary

The candidate will train operators, evaluate processes, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to ensure product conformity and workmanship standards across manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of quality inspection experience in manufacturing (aerospace preferred).
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and blueprints.
• Working knowledge of GD&T per ASME Y14.5 and AS9100/AS9102 processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan, perform, and document First Piece and First Article Inspections for complex aerospace components.
• Evaluate processes, tooling, fixturing, inspection methods and operator readiness.
• Conduct dimensional inspections using CMMs, scanners, and precision equipment.
• Interpret drawings and GD&T to ensure compliance with customer and internal requirements.
• Train and mentor operators and inspectors on inspection techniques.
