Job summary

Sun Life U.S. is seeking a Sr. Manager, Quality Assurance to lead QA across Dental Shared Services. You will drive quality monitoring, audits, calibration, and improvements, partnering with Operations, Compliance, Training, and technology teams to strengthen controls and outcomes.

With 7+ years in QA/healthcare operations and 3+ years in leadership, you will guide teams, manage audits, and implement automation and analytics to elevate service quality for members, providers, and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• Seven or more years of progressive experience in quality assurance, healthcare operations, or related areas.
• Three or more years of leadership or people management experience.
• Experience with government, Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, or regulated healthcare programs preferred.
• Strong knowledge of quality monitoring, audit methodology, root cause analysis, and performance improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day execution and continuous improvement of QA programs across Dental Shared Services.
• Establish and maintain audit procedures, sampling, quality standards, calibration, and reporting.
• Coach and develop quality leaders, monitor productivity and accuracy, and support career development.
• Analyze quality results, identify root causes, and propose practical improvements.
• Partner with multiple functions to develop corrective actions and training updates.
• Manage client audits, calibration activities, and timely responses to inquiries.
• Coordinate quality support for internal, regulatory, and client audits with evidence and remediation.
• Implement quality improvement and technology initiatives, including automation and analytics.
• Assess staffing, capacity, and priorities to ensure adequate coverage and cost-effective delivery.
• Represent QA in cross-functional forums and leadership reviews.
