Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited in Bellevue, WA seeks a Test Manager to lead a QA team across multiple workstreams. You will shape the test strategy, oversee planning and execution, and partner with product and development teams to ensure quality across releases.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in QA, strong leadership, and hands-on experience with JIRA/QTest/TestRail, Selenium, API testing, and CI/CD. Excellent stakeholder communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in QA/Testing with 4+ years in leadership.
• Strong knowledge of test management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Hybrid).
• Hands-on with JIRA, QTest or TestRail.
• Automation frameworks: Selenium, TestNG, Rest Assured.
• Experience with API, functional, regression, performance, and UAT testing.
• CI/CD pipelines and version control (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git).
• SQL for data validation and test data management.
• Leadership, stakeholder communication.
• Analytical and risk-assessment abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor QA team across multiple workstreams.
• Define and implement test strategy, plans, and quality metrics.
• Partner with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to align testing scope.
• Oversee test planning, execution, and defect management.
• Drive adoption of automation frameworks to increase coverage.
• Establish quality KPIs and provide risk assessments to leadership.
• Ensure test environments and data are managed and available.
• Manage resource planning, budgeting, and vendor/offshore coordination.
• Champion test governance and process standardization across QA.
• Facilitate defect triage and root-cause analysis for critical issues.
