Job summary

Ask IT Consulting Inc. seeks a Test/QA Lead to design and execute test strategies, plans and scripts for complex IT projects. You will analyze design specifications, requirements and drive defect triage while engaging with customers and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 11+ years in QA leadership, strong SDLC/STLC knowledge, and hands-on automation with Selenium; telecom background is a plus, with offshore collaboration experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline; MBA preferred.
• 11+ years as QA Analyst / QA Lead with progressive responsibility.
• Strong troubleshooting, research and problem-solving abilities.
• Extensive SDLC/STLC knowledge and testing methodologies.
• Experience gathering requirements and writing test scripts/plans.
• Experience with SOAP UI for service-level testing.
• Automation experience using Selenium or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain test strategy and test plans.
• Analyze design specs and requirements, apply to testing process.
• Create and document test cases and scripts.
• Participate in daily scrum meetings.
• Develop, monitor and report daily test execution plans.
• Triage and drive defects to resolution.
• Drive adoption of tools and agile practices with quality metrics.
• Interface with the customer and provide accurate status.
• Mentor team and support offshore development when needed.
