Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Grand Rapids is seeking a QA Lead to drive quality across multiple projects and releases. You will define test strategy, plans, estimations, and metrics, review test cases and defect reports, and coordinate with business, development, and support teams.

The role requires strong leadership, QA process knowledge, and experience with SQL validation, Agile delivery, and stakeholder management to ensure successful deployments and continuous quality improvements.

Qualifications

Experience in Manual Testing, STLC/SDLC, and Quality Assurance processes.
Proficient in Test Planning, Test Strategy, Test Case Review, and Estimation.
Defect Management using JIRA/Azure DevOps/ALM.
Hands-on testing across Functional, Regression, Integration, System, and UAT.
SQL-based validation and data analysis.
Experience in Agile/Scrum project delivery.
Strong Team Leadership and Stakeholder Management.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage QA activities across multiple projects and releases.
Define test strategy, test plans, estimation, and quality metrics.
Review test cases, test execution results, and defect reports.
Coordinate with business, development, and support teams for successful releases.
Mentor QA team members and drive continuous quality improvements.
Provide status reporting, risk assessment, and release sign-off.
