Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited is seeking an experienced QA/Testing Engineer to lead quality assurance activities in Grand Rapids, MI. The role involves defining test strategies, planning, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful releases.

The candidate should have strong experience in STLC/SDLC, QA processes, defect management, and SQL validation, with hands-on testing across functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing, plus Agile/Scrum delivery and

Qualifications

Manual testing, STLC, SDLC, and QA processes.
Test planning, test strategy, test case review, and estimation.
Defect management using JIRA/Azure DevOps/ALM.
Functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
SQL for validation and analysis.
Agile/Scrum project delivery experience.
Team leadership and stakeholder management.
Strong POS domain knowledge required.

Responsibilities

Manage QA activities across multiple projects and releases.
Define test strategy, test plans, estimation, and quality metrics.
Review test cases, test execution results, and defect reports.
Coordinate with business, development, and support teams for successful releases.
Mentor QA team members and drive continuous quality improvements.
Provide status reporting, risk assessment, and release sign-off.
