Job summary

TELUS Health is seeking a Senior QA Analyst to design and execute comprehensive testing across the software development lifecycle, ensuring quality and reliability of our health technology solutions for customers and providers.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to test strategy and planning, support UAT, mentor junior QA analysts, and maintain regression suites while prioritizing activities to meet project timelines.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Strong experience creating and executing manual test cases and test scripts.
• Experience identifying, documenting, tracking, and validating software defects.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, QA processes, and best practices.
• Experience participating in test strategy and test planning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to mentor and support junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and testing scope.
• Design comprehensive positive and negative manual test cases.
• Develop and maintain manual test scripts and data.
• Execute test cases and document results.
• Identify, report, and track defects through resolution.
• Maintain regression test suites with new functionality.
• Contribute to test strategies and planning.
• Assess QA impact of system changes and validate regression needs.
• Monitor testing progress and communicate risks and timelines.
• Provide training and knowledge sharing as needed.
• Mentor junior QA Analysts.
