Job summary

Mindlance is seeking a senior QA engineer to lead testing for Appian applications used in banking workflows. You will design and build automation, own the testing lifecycle, and ensure reliability and compliance across complex processes.

Responsibilities include maintaining Selenium automation suites, overseeing STLC from strategy to sign-off, executing manual tests where needed, documenting test plans and results, and mentoring junior testers while communicating risks to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in QA, with 3+ years testing Appian applications.
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java or Python.
• Strong manual testing, STLC and test management
• API testing and Agile/Scrum experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Selenium automation suites for Appian interfaces, processes and integrations
• Own the STLC: test strategy, planning, design, execution, defect management and sign-off
• Run manual functional, regression and integration testing where automation doesn't fit
• Maintain QA documentation: test plans, test cases, traceability matrices and reports
• Manage tests and defects in tools like Jira or Zephyr, and integrate automation into CI/CD
• Mentor junior testers and report quality risks to stakeholders
