Job summary

National Laboratory of the Rockies (NLR) in Boulder, CO, seeks a Senior Quality Assurance professional to oversee field QA/QC for the Construction Quality Management program and related procedures. The role emphasizes contract document comprehension, plan reviews, and cross-functional coordination with site operations, architects, and vendors.

Responsibilities include implementing QA/QC plans, tracking RFIs, punch lists, and non-conforming material, and driving continuous improvement in quality

Qualifications

• Relevant Bachelor's Degree and 9+ years of experience, or Master's with 7+ years, or PhD with 4+ years.
• Extensive knowledge of laws, regulations, principles, procedures and practices related to the field.
• Excellent leadership, project management and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide QA/QC oversight for field implementation of NLR’s Construction Quality Management program and related procedures.
• Review and feedback on project-specific QA/QC plans with scopes of work.
• Develop engineering procedures, including document control, submissions management, RFIs, material samples, testing schedules, and open punch lists.
