Job summary

National Laboratory of the Rockies (NLR) is seeking a Professional IV in Quality Assurance to oversee QA/QC for field construction and site operations at our Flatirons Campus near Boulder, CO. You will develop procedures, coordinate with partners, and drive compliance with contract documents and safety plans.

The role requires extensive QA/QC expertise, experience with various quality systems, and strong leadership to manage inspections, punch lists, and corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Requires strong QA/QC knowledge within construction and field operations.
• Experience with multiple Quality Management Systems (ISO-9001, ISO-14001, ISO-17025, etc.).
• Excellent leadership, project management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt to new and challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the QA/QC Plan for site construction and operations.
• Review project-specific QA/QC plans, RFIs, and punch lists.
• Coordinate with site operations, architects, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Lead inspections and third-party testing; analyze results.
• Track corrective actions and effectiveness reviews.
• Support training and knowledge transfer within ESHQ Office.
