Job summary

National Laboratory of the Rockies (NLR) is seeking a Professional IV in Quality Assurance to oversee field QA/QC within Site Operations. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 9+ years of experience, or Master’s with 7+ years, or PhD with 4+ years.
• Extensive knowledge of laws, regulations, principles, procedures related to QA/QC.
• Excellent leadership, project management and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of DOE policies/regulations and quality management systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide QA/QC oversight for field implementation of the Construction QA/QC program.
• Develop engineering procedures, document control, RFIs, samples, testing schedules, punch lists.
• Coordinate with Site Operations, architects, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure compliant project delivery.
• Lead corrective actions, root-cause analysis, and effectiveness reviews for quality issues.
• Support project close-out and quality reporting, and participate in readiness assessments.
