Job summary

Waters Corporation in Milford, MA is seeking a Sr. QA Laboratory Engineer to investigate molecular contamination, evaluate products in the QA Laboratory, and drive quality improvements for antibody- and chemical-based lines.

You will design and validate analytical methods (MS, LC, UV, fluorescence) and support the QMS across multiple sites. The role requires strong data interpretation, excellent communication, and ability to work with R&D, manufacturing, and reliability teams to support

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Science (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology) or Engineering with lab/analytical emphasis.
Master's degree in the noted fields preferred.
Minimum 5 years in industry (diagnostic devices, pharma, biotech).
Minimum 3 years of laboratory experience.
Experience with MS, LC, UV, plate reader or similar techniques.

Responsibilities

Execute day-to-day product acceptance and release testing in the Quality Assurance Laboratory using MS, LC, UV, fluorescence and other instrumentation.
Validate test methods for cleaning and HPS processes as well as for product release.
Support the Quality Management System by generating, modifying, reviewing, and approving quality records (SOPs, protocols, reports).
Monitor and maintain the laboratory environment (reagents, calibrations, preventive maintenance, safety) adhering to GDP.
Collaborate across functions to troubleshoot and drive improvement in procedures/processes.
Timely closure of NCRs, CAPAs, and investigations.
