Job summary

Waters Corporation is seeking a Consulting Analytical Scientist to advance analytical methods for chromatographic materials and devices. The role involves collaboration across R&D, manufacturing, and Global Operations to transfer methods to production.

You will develop new technologies and communicate findings internally and externally, mentoring colleagues and contributing to product generation and process improvements.

Qualifications

• PhD in analytical chemistry with 15+ years of industrial or academic experience.
• Experience across multiple analytical techniques with data interpretation insights for R&D.
• Ability to develop new analytical methods to solve key problems in analytics.
• Strong collaboration and leadership in fast-paced, multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations to provide timely solutions to R&D analytical problems.
• Oversee data interpretation and present findings to internal teams.
• Provide technical consultation on analytical method development across techniques.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to innovate the next generation of Waters products.
• Stay current with literature and emerging techniques in analytics.
• Mentor and guide other Analytical Group members.
