Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a meticulous Quality Assurance Engineer with strong UI testing skills for a government modernization project in Washington, DC. You will design test plans, perform functional and regression testing on Java-based web apps, and ensure accessibility and cybersecurity compliance across Windows Server environments.

You will also develop UI automation, conduct API testing, and integrate tests into GitLab CI/CD.

Qualifications

• Experience in functional and regression testing of Java-based web applications.
• UI validation and cross-browser compatibility testing.
• Familiarity with federal cybersecurity requirements and accessibility standards (Section 508/WCAG).
• Experience testing Tomcat, Oracle 19c, and SAP BI interfaces.
• Experience with Windows Server environments.
• API testing (RESTful services) and Solr.
• CI/CD pipelines (GitLab).
• Analytical and well-documented approach.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for system upgrades and new features.
• Perform functional and regression testing of Java-based web applications.
• Conduct UI validation and cross-browser compatibility testing.
• Execute manual testing for complex scenarios.
• Validate compliance with federal cybersecurity requirements.
