Job summary

Base-2 Solutions seeks a meticulous QA tester to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for system upgrades and new features, and to perform functional and regression testing of Java‑based web applications in a federal environment.

You will automate UI and API tests, validate security controls, ensure Section 508/WCAG accessibility, and integrate tests into GitLab CI/CD pipelines while coordinating defect resolution across Windows Server, Tomcat, Oracle 19c, and SAP BI interfaces.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in functional and regression testing of Java-based web applications.
• Proficiency with defect tracking systems.
• Knowledge of federal cybersecurity requirements and government accessibility standards (Section 508/WCAG).
• Experience testing Apache Tomcat servers, Oracle 19c databases, and SAP BI interfaces.
• Familiarity with Windows Server environments.
• API testing experience (Apache Solr, RESTful services).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab.
• Excellent analytical skills and meticulous documentation practices.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams in regulated environments.

Responsibilities
