Scotch is hiring a senior QA/QA lead to own the quality strategy for the POS, back office, and payments platforms. You will build automated tests, run integration and API tests, and integrate tests into GitHub Actions for fast feedback across real hardware and simulated environments.

You’ll drive evidence-based release gates and collaborate with support to reproduce issues with precise data. Strong coding skills and experience with Playwright/CI are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in QA or software engineering in test.
• 2+ years as senior or lead quality owner for a shipping product.
• Experience building test automation from scratch.
• Strong coding skills in Kotlin, Java, Ruby, TypeScript, or Python.
• Hands-on experience with modern frameworks and CI.
• Experience testing APIs and data integrity.
• Clear writing for bug reports and release notes.

Responsabilités

• Own the QA strategy for the POS app, back office, and payments.
• Build and maintain automated test suites across layers.
• Wire tests into CI so PRs and releases get fast feedback.
• Turn release process into evidence-based gates.
• Test on real hardware and networks across devices and scenarios.
• Drive payments quality including processor certification tests.
• Create test data and environments to reproduce merchants' setups.
• Use AI tools to generate tests and triage logs.
• Collaborate with support to reproduce bugs with details.
• Track quality metrics and report clearly.
