Job summary

Global Payments, a leader in payments, seeks a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to own QA across the SDLC and drive automation using Playwright in a hybrid environment with multiple office locations. You will validate complex payment workflows and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery quality.

The role requires 5+ years of QA experience in Agile, hands-on Playwright with JS/TS, REST API testing, and a solid understanding of CI/CD.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software QA/testing in an Agile environment.
• Hands-on Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript and UI/API automation.
• QA methodologies: test strategy, risk-based testing, regression testing, defect management.
• Experience testing REST APIs, backend services, databases, and end-to-end data flows.
• Payments/fintech experience with card processing and lifecycle concepts.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end QA activities across the SDLC, including test strategy, planning, risk analysis, and release validation.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright, integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
• Validate payment workflows: authorization, capture, settlement, refunds, voids, declines, and exception scenarios across integrated systems.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Automation, and QA teams to ensure testability and coverage against acceptance criteria.
• Drive continuous QA improvements by analyzing defects, closing coverage gaps, and increasing regression effectiveness.
